As of 1st January 2021, Cochrane Nordic will be hosted by the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) in Odense, Denmark and be affiliated with the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine Odense (CEBMO). With the move to SDU, Cochrane Nordic will become Cochrane Denmark recognizing a change in leadership supported by SDU and implement the new nomenclature system of names for Cochrane geographical centres. Due to this transition period, more details on the future of Cochrane Denmark will be announced later in the year.

"We are in the process of a reorganization that will make Cochrane Denmark even better equipped to produce and appraise evidence needed by healthcare decision-makers. We will be in a transition period in the coming months, and we look forward to announcing our new vision and plans later in the year", says Professor Asbjørn Hróbjartsson.
